How It Works

What is the AlphaLawgics Freelance Marketplace?

The AlphaLawgics Freelance Marketplace is a service for finding legal service providers anywhere in the United States. Clients post jobs for Vendors (legal service providers) to fulfill, and in turn, Vendors submit job proposals, including quotes, for Clients to review. AlphaLawgics enables Clients and Legal Vendors to network with one another and negotiate projects and jobs.

Who is a Client?

Clients are anyone who is looking to hire a legal service provider, or Vendor, to complete a project or fulfill a job. Clients may be law firms, administrative employees at law firms, attorneys, and companies that provide legal services to law firms who are searching for freelancers or legal support companies to fulfill a single service or multiple services. The AlphaLawgics Freelance Marketplace is free for Clients to use to find Vendors.

Clients: How Does it Work?

1. Post a Job

Post a job to the job board, specifying the type of Vendor you are seeking and a description of the job. At this time, we keep your contact information private in order to eliminate spam.

2. Compare Vendors

After you submit the job listing, Vendors will send you customized Proposals for review, including a Proposal Amount (in $USD), and a description of the Vendor’s approach to the job, as well as the Vendor’s business profile, contact information, and reviews by other Clients. At this time, you can also contact Vendors via message, email, or phone for more information.

3. Hire a Vendor

After reviewing the proposals submitted on your listing, hire the Vendor of your choice for the job. After accepting the Vendor’s Proposal, your profile information is revealed to the selected Vendor. You and the Vendor may then contact one another to complete the business transaction.

Who is a Vendor?

Vendors are individuals (sometimes freelancers) or companies who provide services and/or products to the legal community. Vendors may include individuals or companies who provide services or products such as: Court Reporting, Process Service, Legal Video, Translator Services, Records Retrieval, Private Investigator Services, Notary, Courier, Copies/Scanning, Printing Services, Document Destruction, General Litigation Support, and more. The Freelance Marketplace is free for Vendors to use to access the job board (where Clients post jobs) and submit quotes on jobs to Clients.

Vendors: How Does it Work?

1. Review Job Listings

Clients post a job to the job board, specifying the type of Vendor they are seeking and a description of the job. We send new Job Listings to your email address, your AlphaLawgics messaging panel, and to the Job Board (where you can browse based on Job Type, Location, and more).

2. Submit a Proposal

If you are interested in a Job Listing, submit a customized Proposal directly to the Client. Your Proposal includes a Proposal Amount (in $USD), and a description of your approach to the job, as well as your business profile, contact information, and reviews by Clients who have previously hired you via AlphaLawgics. The Client can also contact Vendors via message, email, or phone for more information.

3. Get Hired

The Client compares the Vendors who replied to their Job Listing, and hires the Vendor of their choice for the job. Once your Proposal is accepted, the Client’s profile information is revealed to you. You and the Client may then contact one another to complete the business transaction.
